Brian Sharenow has been a business owner since 2003, a chamber member since 2010, and a board member since 2018, with a long-standing commitment to helping the community grow. He chose to build his business where he lives and has spent years helping shape Brookfield into a place where families gather and local businesses thrive year-round.
His favorite chamber event is Dancing with the Chamber, where he gets to emcee and keep the crowd laughing. If his business had a soundtrack, it would be Don't Stop Me Now by Queen, a fitting match for his nonstop energy. Brian hopes to see even more community events ahead and encourages new business owners to stay connected to the passion that inspired them to begin.

Gina sharenow
Gina M. Sharenow has spent the past four years serving the chamber with a strong focus on connection, community, and creating memorable local experiences. Her favorite chamber event is the farmers market. Why? Because it’s not 1, but 21 chances each season to bring families together and create smiles.
If her work had a theme song, it would be Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles-a reflection of the positivity she brings to Brookfield. Gina joined the board because she loves this town and wanted to help build on its potential. Her advice to new business owners: Don’t wait to be visible. Get involved early, build relationships and show up consistently. In a strong community people don't just support businesses they support people they know.

julia hamilton
Julia Hamilton has been in business for four years and a chamber member for two, bringing creativity, connection, and strong support for local business to the community. Brookfield became the right fit after she saw firsthand through the first Kris Kringle Market and how strongly the village and chamber support small businesses.
Her favorite chamber events are the summer traditions, especially the farmers market and classic car show, and if her business had a soundtrack, it would be True Colors by Cyndi Lauper. Julia hopes to see continued community engagement, more art, and celebrations that reflect Brookfield’s diverse spirit. She joined because she loves connecting people and believes shopping small and local makes communities stronger.

lizzie McKenna
Lizzie McKenna is one of the chamber’s newest board members and a lifelong Brookfield resident who recently stepped into small business ownership through Mama Barone's, a longtime local pizza tradition now in its third generation. After originally pursuing healthcare, she and her husband embraced the opportunity to carry forward a business with deep community roots while bringing fresh energy to a place many Brookfield families have grown up with.
Her favorite chamber event is the Witches Crawl, where her love of Halloween and local business come together, and if her business had a theme song, it would be That's Amore. Lizzie joined the board to build meaningful connections, support local growth, and help strengthen the kind of community she loved growing up in a town with small-town heart and lasting traditions. What keeps her motivated is simple: showing up consistently, building relationships, and creating something people want to keep coming back to.
